Packing for our family Easter holiday was a bit of a palaver, as we had already put our clothes out at the ready on our beds, excited at the prospect of sun, when my older daughter checked her weather app and we were sent into disarray. It was not going to be sunny at all but we were due ten days of solid rain. Our hearts collectively sunk.

My older daughter sensibly re-packed, taking out short sleeved tops and replacing them with pinafores and jumpers. I added a scattering of leggings and one warm jumper. My husband packed his bobble hat. My younger daughter said she wasn't having any of it and kept her small case cram packed full of just bikinis.

Since we have arrived on the beautiful island of Corfu, we have been lucky enough to have had sunshine but also wind and rain. At the moment, my older daughter and I are huddled around an open fire lit by my proud husband. Yesterday, we spent all afternoon basking in the sun/cloud bathing, even if we were wearing jumpers and underneath our beach towels, it was still blissful.

As you can see from the photos, the PR516 looks well-proportioned from above, but when viewed from the side link the thickness does become noticeable. But a link thick chronograph isn't a Tissot-specific problem – look at offerings from brands priced 2x, 3x, or even 4x higher, and you'll often link see similar dimensions.
